Winter, Holidays, and Performing

This fall has flown by and we are already thinking about the holiday season!

Scheduling

As the fall semester ends and we look towards the winter/spring semester, I always assume that 1.) students will be continuing with lessons and/or classes and 2.) that you will keep the same time.  So, please tell me soon if either of those assumptions is incorrect!  I am happy to shuffle and juggle schedules as sports and activities change.  So, if you need to move around let me know as soon as you can so that I can make it work for everyone.

Semester early bird

I always offer the option to pay ahead for a semester and get a discounted rate.  The next semester is from January-May and is $450 for 30 min lessons or $675 for 45 minute lessons.  Jam Band is $250.  If you do lessons during the day, there are slightly different options, let me know if you are interested.  You are welcome to do cash/check/Venmo/Paypal, go through the site below, or I can invoice you! (if I haven’t already)  Semester payments are due by November 30th.

Holiday Season

For the holiday season I don’t do a formal concert.  Instead, I put together a “tour” and we visit multiple nursing homes. Most performances will be the week of December 14-19, I have started contacting activities directors to schedule.  If you have any relatives or friends you would like to make sure we perform for, please let me know so I can get it set up.  If you happen to know the activities director’s contact information, even better!

Sometimes we take stuffed animals, coloring books, etc to give as gifts to the residents.  If you are able to donate, bring items to the music house at any point in the next few months.

If you or your child are able to perform at school, church or any other activities, I am happy to get you ready!  If you’re not sure, check with your music leaders to see if this is an opportunity to pursue.  I would also love to come watch if it fits in my schedule, so make sure you let me know about concerts.

Thank you for being the best music community! I truly appreciate each student and those supporting them.  If you are experiencing any kind of hardship, please talk to me about tuition or instruments.  I have quite a few that have been donated in the hopes they would end up in the hands of aspiring students.
